Welcome to the Cooper-Young Community Farmers Market! We're small but we're like family. You can find us in the parking lot of First Congo every Saturday morning 8am-1pm. Come browse our market for a locally-sourced selection of fresh produce, grass-fed meat, homegrown herbs, warm baked goods, all-natural soaps, fresh-cut flowers, hot coffee and live acoustic music. We are family, kid, and dog-friendly. Visit us this weekend!

Gardens Oy Vey

 They are about 15 miles east of Memphis TN. A garden build over the last 30 years. Just a Mom & Pop type of business. 

Picked straight out of the nursery, Gardens Oy Vey, gets them to you whole and intact. They also procure plants from several nurseries in and around Memphis, TN.

They offer gardens tours by appointment during the spring through the fall with a member of their Garden staff.

The nursery is owned by Diane Meucci, a Chicago native, is the designer, grower and maintenance woman of the operation. They have changed the nursery in the last two years to ‘An Online Nursery’ only.

Wolfgang Marquardt, native German, is the other part of this Mom and Pop business. He is the propagator, web master, shipping person and events and events coordinator.

Liam Boyd from a farming family North of Memphis TN, has been with them as a part time hand for about four years now and as proven to be a valuable asset mainly to the market and events part of the business.

Over the last few years they have specialized in unique rustic ‘Table Gardens’. They have ‘Indoor Low Light Gardens’, winter hardy ’Outdoor Shade Gardens’, winter hardy ‘Sun Gardens’ and ‘Indoor Sunny Window Gardens’.

All are ‘Hypertufa’ containers, a mix of portland cement, peat moss and sand.

They will have printed care instructions with each container, so don’t be afraid you can keep them alive.
Prices range from $18.00 to $280.00 for our larger containers
