What’s in Season
We’re looking forward to our best Summer season yet here at the Cooper-Young Community Farmers Market! Here’s a sampling of what you can expect during the coming months:
Everything! Sweet, juicy fruits. Sweet, juicy vegetables. Even bowties and handcrafted soaps are weighing down the vines these days. After a wet, cold, tough spring for farming, the season of plenty is here, y’all.
You can expect to find several shapes, sizes, and colors of squash, sun-ripened to-maters, colorful floral bouquets, peaches and plums and pluots, shrimp by the pound, carrots, greens of every color, berries galore, even blueberry ice cream. And of course you’ll find some of our perennial favorites: artisan breads, specialty mushrooms, all-natural dog treats, the whole cast of herbs, eggs, meats, macarons, jams’n'jellies, granola, raw pet’s milk, and of course…
The best locally-roasted coffee around! (Now available chilled and on tap.)
